Application Process: Hapé is a powerful plant medicine. It can be administered in two ways: using a V-shaped self-applicator known as a ‘Kuripe’ or with the help of another person using a large applicator called a ‘Tepi’.

To get started, take a dime-sized amount of Hapé.

Pour it into your palm, set an intention, and tune inward. Then, scoop half of it into the nose end of the Kuripe (the longer side), tapping gently to settle the powder into the v-shaped elbow.

Once loaded, take a deep breath and hold it. Position the pipe comfortably between your lips and into your left nostril.

With eyes closed, exhale gently, sending the Hapé up your left nostril, then repeat for the right side.

After applying, sit in meditation for 5-10 minutes, feeling the effects.

Always treat this plant ally with respect and reverence, using it in a ceremonial setting and never for habitual or social consumption.
